I certainly do enjoy the drama of a cloud-filled sky. Nevertheless, the excitement is tempered with that nagging fear that clouds will lead to a delayed departure from Dayton. Great hospitality here, but I would really enjoy being home tonight 🙂

My iPhone has become my constant companion during my all-to-frequent business travels. But the hazy jet-lagged fog also inspires me. It challenges me and piques my curiosity. Here are some shots from some recent trips, starting with some images from Colorado Springs. While the quality of these images may not be at the level of a good DSLR, I enjoy the loose style. It certainly fits my loopy mood.

I’ve enjoyed the personal challenge of capturing some of the hidden magic in our garden. Seemingly ordinary plants like our orchids, succulents, and the ubiquitous white Calla Lily are tempting subjects with endless possibilities.

December sure flew by. With a bittersweet sense of life moving way to fast, we turned off the Christmas tree for the final time in 2011, gave Dobie a festive scratch behind the ear, and jumped in our cab headed for SFO and family festivities.
