Could be worse…

My flight home from Dulles to SFO is already delayed an hour due to rain in San Francisco…but at least I'm not on the nearby flight to Boston: "We've lost our pilot. He is somewhere in the terminal. But we will find him, and then we can begin boarding. Sorry for the delay."

They need one of those leashes parents use for wandering children 🙂

I’m glad I got the frack out of there yesterday. It is pouring snow here in NYC right now (at least 2 inches so far, with predictions of 5), and this afternoon it is supposed to turn to ice and put down another quarter inch on top of the snow.

I could see a band of nasty weather inching closer while I was at the airport yesterday afternoon. Every time we were delayed by SFO, I would glance at the monitor and pray that we wouldn’t get stuck soon by local nastiness!
